i discovered a few things last week: 1) modifying and hemming IKEA shears takes a lot longer than i thought it would. 2) mushrooms can actually be pretty tasty, even if they dont look very appetizing to me. and 3) if you dont plan any meals for the weekend, then you probably will only shop for the meals you have planned, and then you may or may not find yourself on Sunday night with nothing in the house to eat or drink.
so this week, i'm going back to my full seven-day meal planning, but still keeping the meals themselves pretty simple because i really really want to finish up the super simple window treatments that i've been working on.
Monday: grilled chicken salad.
Tuesday: crock pot roast, potatoes, and veggies.
Wednesday: fish, rice, and a veggie.
Thursday: soup from a can.
Friday: quesadillas with salsa.
Saturday: taco night.
Sunday: citrus herb chicken, potatoes? veggie.
ps i had a FANTASTIC weekend with my BFITW and my sister and her family and i can't wait to tell you all about it and share some of the fun with you, but since i came home exhausted yesterday and pretty much went straight to bed to make up for the hour of sleep we lost, it'll have to wait until tomorrow-ish.
